It’s the international women’s day
And at New Lamu, Sundays are about family — good food, laughter, music, and creating time to simply be together. This Sunday will be extra special as we celebrate the amazing women in our lives — mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and friends — the people who hold our families and communities together.
Our objective is to create a wholesome day for the entire family by sharing games for the young ones, physical activities for teenagers, and of course music and sports for the elderly
Our revamped Family Sundays at New Lamu are designed to bring a full family experience every Sunday. A place where children can play, teenagers can enjoy activities, and the adults can relax with good music, sports, and great food.
“Our objective is to create a wholesome day for the entire family by sharing games for the young ones, physical activities for teenagers, and of course music and sports for the elderly,” says Loreen, our Family Sunday team building lead.
Good food. Good vibes. Great company.
And fittingly, this celebration comes just as the world marks International Women’s Day on 8th March. The day traces its roots to early 20th-century movements advocating for women’s rights and recognition of their role in society. Over the years it has grown into a global moment to appreciate the contribution of women in our families, workplaces, and communities.
